As part of the process of digital transformation and in particular the digitization of Industry (Industry 4.0), Pool-Net will represent the Cluster Engineering & Tooling at the Industry 4.0 Summit & Expo held in Manchester, United Kingdom, on 10th and 11th April 2019. This event is the main meeting place for executives from the manufacturing industry interested in developing digital strategies in their companies.
Pool-Net will attend the Summit and will have s its own booth at Industry 4.0 Expo.
CENTIMFE, as a member of the “Engineering & Tooling” cluster, and in collaboration with Pool-Net, will represent Portugal at the Open Technology Forum of the event and will make a presentation titled: Simoldes4.0 – Smart System for Plastic Injection Molds. An efficient mold with advanced data acquisition systems, capable of communicating across a global network, in the principle of Industry 4.0, with integration of production technologies and instrumentation.
In 2018 the Industry 4.0 Summit & Factories of the Future brought together 1,900 participants and 53 speakers from 39 countries at the Manchester Convention Center Complex to discuss manufacturing digitization.
Pool-Net’s participation in Industry 4.0 Summit & Expo is part of the HIGHSPOT project, co-financed by Portugal 2020, contributing to the strengthening of the global competitiveness of Portuguese industry.
