Pool-Net will participate in Hannover Messe 2022, being Portugal Partner-Country of the world’s leading fair for industrial technology. This edition on Digitization and Sustainability will take place from May 30 to June 2, 2022, in Hannover – Germany.
Portugal presents itself in Hannover Messe under the motto “Portugal Makes Sense”, a project that will focus on the thematic areas Engineered Parts & Solutions, Digital Ecosystems and Energy Solutions, which are representative of the Portuguese offer of clusters of excellence. This is a crucial international event to reinforce the international promotion of the Cluster and the Collective Brand “Engineering & Tooling from Portugal”, with the aim of capturing new export opportunities for the industry. The Cluster Engineering & Tooling will be at the Portugal Partner Country Pavilion – Hall 2 – Stand A02, where it will also present a set of demonstrators in the area of digitization and automation.
Germany occupies 2nd place in the Cluster export ranking, accounting for 17% of molds exported in 2020 and continues to represent a traditional strategic market for our industries to provide technology-based innovation and know-how, quality services and solutions. reliable as a “one stop shop” (from design to product).
In this context, the Pool-Net Portuguese Tooling & Plastics Network aims to promote the “Engineering & Tooling from Portugal” brand and its distinctive skills in the molds, special tools and plastics sector.
It is recalled that in its last in-person edition, Hannover Messe mobilized 6,500 exhibitors and 215,000 visitors, of which 140,000 were decision-makers. Hannover Messe is a networking platform that, in the last face-to-face edition, provided 6.5 million business contacts.
This initiative is carried out within the scope of Pool-Net’s CIP_2022 Project, continuing the action plan to be developed in high potential markets in 2022.
